About Me
My name is Jo and I have been conducting memorable ceremonies for over 10 years. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with you to create the most meaningful ceremony.
So, a little bit about me...
- In 1996 I qualified as an ASA Swimming Instructor. Over the years I have taught both children and adults a life skill.
- After leaving higher education I qualified as an Associate Legal Executive and specialised in Land Law from 1999 to 2015.
- I am married and have two children, Lily and Alex
- I started working for the Local Authority as a 'Ceremony Officer' in 2013 and have had the privilege of conducting couples ceremonies at licensed venues ever since.
- I subsequently trained with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants and hold my certificates in Funeral Celebrancy and Marriage and Family Celebrancy to enable me to conduct bespoke funeral, celebration of life and memorial services, along with renewal of vows, naming and wedding ceremonies.
- I do love a challenge, over the years I have completed the Royal Marines Commando Challenge, ran half marathons, completed a 131 mile sportive, completed two 70.3 triathlons and a number of sprint triathlons and I ran 200 miles over 31 days for the charity J-A-C-K.
